See! You are no longer incompetent!:D Let's just say your loosening activity was a little too quick!

Now that you've done that part once, you can do it an easier way the next time.

everybody needs to remember to back the headstock locks out until snug before removing it from the way tubes and it will be a "breeze" to reinstall.

Ok my replacement wedges, bolt and headstock lock handle is here.... How the heck do I insert the pin into the handle (that ties it to the bolt)???

You need a 1/8" rollpin punch to remove the pin from the handle -- and a small hammer to re-install it.
