I was thinking I'd probably have to remove the (big) motor to get access to the quill spring, etc. Is this not true? Although I'll bet removing the motor would provide a LOT more room to work.

Where would I find the video?

Thanks,

Pay close attention at 6:50. Two parts(domed washer and the sleeve(spacer)) need to be prevented from dropping into the bottom of the headstock. A string tied onto the end of the shaft will keep them captive, but your headstock will not be cutaway like Nick's in the video. I do not know if the Power Pro gives you sufficient space to get in there with your hand and grab/reinstall the domed washer. The sleeve can be put on after the shaft is back in place. This can be tricky with the small access hole in a "B" headstock. I assume you do not have an "A" headstock(NO ACCESS HOLE).

OVER!

Realize Nick cheats since he has a cutaway headstock.
