I'm in the process of installing mine; when I'm finished you will be welcome to mine. I did see another post showing the part number. In the interest of time you may just wish to have them send you a new one for $20,

Shopsmith is out of stock for these at the present time. Waiting on email. I appreciate your offer and if I cannot get one I will contact you back. Thanks again.

I have been on the phone, sent emails and still no reply on when shopsmith can provide the drill guide. I have been promised several times by their customer service that they would contact me with a date of shipping several times but no reply at all email or otherwise. It has been 6 weeks now and still waiting. So if your offer still stands I would appreciate your drill guide when you are done with it.

Ridiculous and piss poor customer service. My faith in the mothership has been slowly dwindling away.

They have the poorest excuse for customer service I have dealt with. I have never gotten a response from them at any time I contact them. This time it has been really frustrating. I recently went to a demo at a local Lowes and was extremely disappointed. The rep was just going through the motions and as for customer repoire there was none. Kind of this is what it is. Can I go on break now attitude. I was ready to place an order before I got there but walked out having had the poorest demo and talk I ever have experienced. As for demo discount there was none.

Did you call and talk to an actual person? Other modes are not likely to be effective.

Lotta 'new' employees lately with zero experienjce with the 'product' especially older versions. Not an excuse, but sadly tis reality.

I'd like to here more about the demo.

Who was the presenter?
Was it at a Lowe's or Woodcraft?

I go to one or two demos every year and they always have discounts so this seems strange to me. Perhaps some misunderstanding or a new "no discount" sale??? Stranger things have happened.

While they push the new product I've ordered other things with a discount so at least in the past it was still cheaper then ordering from the company's web site. If you are a vet and signed up with the mylowe's Card that gets you another 10% off. They also offer some other deals if you use your Lowe's credit card.
