Didn't mean to throw disparage on the project if that is the way you took it ... :D Just making an observation. I am working on a light jib boom arrangement for lifting and positioning both the planer and the jointer. I don't really have a problem yet, but I know it it coming ... LOL

No, no, no. No disparagement taken. I just know that one day I will no longer be able to lift any of the SPTs and I will have to move on to something different. Although, I like the idea of a jib boom to delay the occurrence of that time.

I really like your storage!! :)

I just can't lift the band saw or jointer anymore to clear the posts. I thought I would post my answer which nothing to do with woodworking but it may inspire someone as a temporary fix. Works for me also I don't have room for your splendid answer.

GREAT work. I like the design a lot.
