Just a follow-up... In the process of restoring the first 3 Shopsmith Mark 5 manuals, I would be remiss if I did not point out that even though part number revisions and such have happened through the years, if one looks up a screw or setscrew in the early manuals, the description included the dimensions of the screw within the text listing. Now it just says setscrew...
Here is an example
Current On-Line manual for Shopsmith Mark V Headstock:
44 501634 Screw 1 4.44
44 is the set screw on the back side holding the Quill Advance and is covered with putty and painted over at the factory.
In the early Greenies Version 3 Manual:
P1014 was the set screw for the current Item 44
However, the P1014 Description was Screw -- Soc. Set 5/16-18 x 5/16
In the "Shopsmith Set Screws from Mike.PDF" On My Google Drive - shows 501634 as 5/16-18 x 3/8

I agree it would be nice if it could be updated with the Mark 7 Metric Set Screws in the DVR Motor.
