I'm guessing you could've simply let the excess mineral spirits evaporate. Of course that would've left you with less actual wax than you'd paid for.

It broke where the 3 bolts mounted it to the table. There are half moon piece broken off the table. I called Customer service and they are looking into it which is supposed to take 24-48 hour and then they can send a replacement. Which kind of sucks but its the shippers fault. Looks like something was pressed up against the side and or maybe they tied it off there. There is an indentation inside the box where the box was pressed into the rail.
Everything else sees to be there but I cant figure out what these 2 little l shaped aluminum brackets are for. The chuck was the keyless one which I wasnt expecting.

I've never purchased a Mark 7 so I don't know what the shipping container is like but if it is designed for the weight, size and shape of the item being packed the cargo (Mark 7) should be fine.
I hope you took pictures of the carton before you unpacked - just in case. Carriers work real hard at not accepting responsibility if they can lay it off on "inadequate packing". The two aluminum pieces appear to be the alignment tool for attaching the tasble rails to the table at the correct height; although, mine are both the same length. Yours appear in the photo to be different sizes.
Their use should be well documented in the assembly instructions which I am sure you have read a couple times.![]()

I would sure like to see a photo showing the broken areas on the table.
Those "brackets" are the jigs to align the rails to the table.Bart430 wrote:Got my mk 7 but there was damage to the main table and the rear rail assembly was snapped off and laying in the bottom of the box.
