No Dusty that is the safest way to handle SPAM. To open an attachment always opens the door for something to be put on your system. I delete the email without opening the attachments. Am I missing something?
In fact at the last hack-a-con or what ever it was called they gave Hackers test copies of the latest voting systems ( all written in the latest and greatest security methods). I think it took a 11 year old ten minutes to break in and be able to change the results.
As long as it something can be written (stored) on a computer there is a doorway for hackers.
