Right you are my friend... strike the word lazy. Perhaps "They had a person less informed in that who took an old drawing I suspect.

Sorry all,
My brain was not working correctly on the out of production time. I have removed it from the earlier post. What this shows is what has happened before - using old pictures, diagrams etc. for more current manuals/documents.
