In the past I downloaded some Sketch up files others had made but never really spent much time with it other than scrolling around the object. Is there a way to ouput each individual piece with it's dimensions, etc., or is there more work to do that?

Yes Tim there is. The PDF plans that I've posted are all generated out of one SketchUp file. There are layers and scenes in SketchUp. You can assign items to individual layers and turn layers on and off and rotate the model for individual scenes. You can have the entire model shown for a 3D view, then have a scene for each individual piece-part, and dimension that part in that scene. Each scene can be output individually as JPGs, which is what I did and then imported them into Corel to make the pages and publish the PDF.
