I am sure there were more than one but the one sticks in my mind was,, we were cutting a tree down years ago , ended up there was a fence post totally hidden inside it, went through a couple chainsaw chains before we got it down . no pictures , that was before the era of showing off and film had to be taken in to be developed .

In the attic looking down inside the wall using my phone's flashlight function trying to find a clear path to run a TV cable. Dropped the phone, and ended up having to knock 7 holes in the wall to retrieve my phone. Turns out that particular wall had studs in an X pattern instead of the usual vertical orientation.
