Woodburner, I didn't say I RECOMMENDED it, just offered it as a possible solution since it was previously mentioned by Nick. I do understand your concerns.

Oh my! Now you've gone and made me reminisce again!
Oh how I long for the old days when we actually fixed cars with bailing wire, sometimes barbed wire (if stuck in the boonies). Had to clip off the barbs. We also fixed a blown fuse or two with the foil from a cigarette package. Everyone carried an axe, bucket and shovel as well as a tool box containing tools and wire.
Sorry! Duct tape hadn't been invented yet!
