It will still be crowned. If you have access to a machinist, they can remove the crown.
Nick Engler talks about this in Sawdust Session #12, where he shows how to tune up the belt sander. I just watched it last night, an I’m looking forward to finishing working on my bandsaw so I can begin working on that. I don’t remember exactly what he said, but I remember that he did suggest ordering a specific part to eliminate the issue.
