You aren't alone Ed! I also have produced some real nice routed pieces using the SS in the drill press mode using router bits. I think the key is to keep the bits sharp. Also use a router for most jobs, but when I want a particular configuration and want to see the cut being made I use the SS. I think the key is to use amall bites and go slow.

Thanks for all the advice. I did buy a router table from rockler and love it. But I wanted to try to use the overhead router ability on the SS. I will try the morticing though. Thanks again. John.
