Hi Bruce,

The "green stuff" was not (obviously) a SS product. I bought it at a local woodworking store. It was 100 grit paper used to do final shaping/sanding of two small cherry pieces.

I had sanded "to the line" on these pieces after rough sawing fairly close on a Freud blade.

I was quite shocked that the new 12" disk tore up so quickly. I used the SS 12" disks on my last canoe build which required a LOT of sanding of the forms which the canoe was built upon. One original SS disk lasted almost the whole life of the canoe project.

I was at menards and forgot to look! I did buy a freud blade though, I guess the tool buying distracted me...
