FWIW I just looked at my 510/520 mortise holddown rod that I bought last year after upgrading my 500 to 510 spec, and it has no flat.chapmanruss wrote: Wed Oct 09, 2024 1:26 pm JPG is correct about the old-style Rod having the flat but since I cannot currently find my upgraded Hold Down, I cannot confirm nor deny if it has a flat side on it.
