Re: Bearing Supplier

Thank you David for your help. I have a November 1995 model 510 (C Headstock) that I just took apart. I noticed it has a SST 6003Z double metal sealed made in Korea (leaking grease) on the rear part of the quill and a KBC 6203D double rubber sealed made in Korea on the front part of the quill. Both have some thrust movement; expected for a 29 year old machine. The Drive Sleeve assembly bearings are both double rubber sealed SST 6205RS made in China. I discovered that this machine has the epoxied quill shaft. I might have a machine shop drill and install a roll pin. I believe that I will stick with double RS bearings. I just discovered the Bearing Guide on Everett Davis's Google drive. Thank you Everett, JPG, Ed, Dusty, John and all who contributed.
