Serial Number: 341460
Got the original manual which says:
Shopsmith Mark 5 TMG-3469A-84(0)-P-7B*
also has:
ShopMag Fall 1 1956
The Jigsaw is: Magna 18" Jigsaw Model 610, item no. 61 000 article no. 84-3429
So I'm guessing my shopsmith is a 1956 Greenie and the jig saw as purchased after that at some point...

In the past 3 months I've acquired 3 Mark V's - at this rate, I'll have 15 in a year, that's not healthy
Yeah you best be careful. While out to dinner with friends last night I asked my buddy if he would be interested in making a short trip with me to look at a Mark V for sale. His wife interjected, "Good Grief you just bought two" My bride responded yeah and another one could prove disastrous. So I decided to stay home today.
I can't wait to see your pictures and hear more about your purchase. fjimp

Here's your Greenie's month/year of birth. Based on
the mickyd table, she's was a Mar/Apr 1957 baby.
If you don't want to go by the mickyd table and prefer to estimate date of build yourself, here's ShopSmith's "
official table". It's at the bottom of the page. You'll notice that there is no month data for your serial number.
