I had a chance to meet more of Ed’s family at his memorial service over the weekend. They appreciated having the Shopsmith community represented, as that camaraderie meant so much to Ed, and were also touched by the kind comments left here that I passed along.

The impression I came away with is that I wish I’d gotten to know Ed better - the stories and photos shared by the family painted a portrait of a really interesting guy. Something to consider as we look beyond our shared Shopsmith interests…

Thanks for bringing Ed's passing to our attention. Thanks also for attending the funeral and updating us on it. Ed is definitely missed. Thoughts and prayers out to all of his friends and family.
