does any one have a set of instructions for the maxi-clamp? I recently bought the clamps but the instructions were stuck together and useless.

To make it easier on anyone looking for the manual, I just uploaded a copy to
http://vintagemachinery.org/pubs/detail.aspx?id=31885. I just picked up a used Mark V and the clamps were part of the package. I thought I was missing the rods until I realized the clamps were in an insert and found the rods and the manual.

It should be noted that the link tmomrik provided is for the Maxi-Clamp. The link edma provided is mislabeled and is for the Universal Hold Down, the Model 10E and 10ER version from the early 1950's. There was also a Mark 5 version changing to the use of a 5/32" Allen Wrench instead of a 1/8" Allen Wrench. The Maxi-Clamp and Universal Hold Down are two very different clamping systems to do different jobs.

Yes, my mistake, thanks for the correction. I have a Maxi-Clamp also, under the Shopmate name. I was focused on that instruction sheet and didn't even look at the box which was clearly labeled as a Universal Hold Down.
