Post #27 in the thread cited above is where Skype was first mentioned.
However, I may well owe the group an apology for jumping off the deep end with this. For becoming overly aggressive in something that is not even my doing, I apologize.

HERE, it tells you how to share your screen with another Skype user. I believe in order to do it with a conference call, you need the free add-in. I should have more info on that later...

Bob, I don't think so. When you get to be my age and you have knees that won't allow you to run on demand - you'll learn to stay out of trouble whenever possible.
You just have to find "less threatening" ways to have fun.

I guess I'm not patient enough.
I have loaded the beta add-in and have tested the microphone/speakers/ headset. It seems like I might be ready.
For those of you who are also interested, the downloads went well and the setups were no brainers. Now....I have yet to make contact with anyone via Skype but all indications are that it will work.
All through the process I saw indications where
this setup is free. Now...be aware, there are options that you can select that are not free. Don't just browse around, clicking as you go or you may end up with a bill to pay that you did not expect.

What I have read indicates that it is secure. However, in this day and age, is anything really free of threat from experienced hackers?
I am normally paranoid about system security. I read through all of the online documentation for Skype and I have downloaded and installed it and the addin.
