Thanks for the SS forum. I have a SS and love woodworking. I appreciate anything that has to do with wood and woodworking and of course my SS Mark V. I'm looking forward to reading all about others experiences and tips. Thanks again.

I too am really glad to see this forum appear. I needed it!
I bought my Shopsmith Mark V back in 1980, I think, and have used it extensively. I hate to think of what I would do without its versatile capabilities.

Mr. Folkerth:
In working towards my BS in management I needed to write a paper on a company of my choosing. I chose Shopsmith because I'm a loyal customer and the wealth of information about the company on your website made research fairly easy to accomplish. I'm definately a fan of yours and of the company in general. I understand you have a potential deal in the works with a national home/garden chain and that you might soon be looking for people to act as Shopsmith rpresentatives to conduct demos around the country. I hope you consider those of us who contribute in these forums as potential part-time salespersons. I'd bet most of us would be proud to help the company increase sales!
Your loyal customer - Andy
P.S.
Take a look at http://www.manvell.org sometime - everything pictured there was built with my Shopsmith. I need to update my site to include a number of turnings my wife and I have recently made.
