Perhaps you could have the indentions on all four sides of the box. Have one set of indentions to rest on the way tubes. Rotate the box 90 degrees and the other set of indentions would rest on the bench tubes. Or substitute one of those for the extension/alignment tubes. I hope I explained that clearly.curiousgeorge wrote:My box is 16 X 13 1/2, but you can make it any size you want. As far as the indention's, it depends on where you want the box to rest. The top tubes (about 7" centers) are a different measurement than the bottom (about 9" centers). Then again, if you want them to rest on the extension, alignment tubes as Reible's did, then that is another measurement. It is entirely up to you depending on where you want the box to set.
A suggestion for making the sides with the indention's is to take a board the length you want the sides, measure the distance center to center for the indention's and drill two holes the size you want the indention's. Then all you have to do is cut the board down the center and you have the two indented sides.
Yep! That would work. Good idea.heathicus wrote:Perhaps you could have the indentions on all four sides of the box. Have one set of indentions to rest on the way tubes.
