Paint Color Matching

Post by jb41339 »

If I were you, I'd take a sample of the color (from pictures, actual paint chip, etc.) to any paint store. Anything that has a fairly clear color sample for the paint store employee. They have paint-matching computer systems that can come pretty close to the actual color. I was general manager of a paint store (Anchorage, Alaska) for well over 15 years and we matched colors daily with sometimes the smallest of samples. I even did one once for a customer that all he had was a nail! I only had the head of the nail as a sample. Came out good though. I made the sell.
Anyway, any paint store worth it's salt has at least one employee that is really good at color-matching.
Worth a try.
