Yes you can, but you should use the router chuck, and the high speed is knot as fast as many router users wood like. 1/4 chuck 1/2 chuck In general, the drill chuck is knot made to be used with router bits.

Looks like it may be from 1983 and that would be a Mark 500, unless it was upgraded to a 510 or a 520.

Is there any way to know whether or not what i have has all the parts and what nots its supposed to have before i get to far along and thanks for the info at least i know its birthday

I'm a slow go at this forum stuff I just figured out that someone responed to my ? about the overhead is the router chuck an asc. that can be picked up from anywhere or ss only

If you click on the link in this post, you will be able to order a manual. The manual knot only tells you how to operate it, but how to assemble it too. You will be able to see if anything is missing with it in your possession. One good thing about SS, is that you can still order most parts for even very old units.

Those are SS parts. No other supplier will have them but you can always check places like e-bay, craigs list, etc.

i can't right now but tomrrow morning i'm uloading it from my van and can a pic of all the wigets anad johnson rods that i was given . I and dont want to give you the wrong impression i am soooooo happy to get this machine i really couldn't afford one before but i got a great deal on this one and it works fine i just dont know anything about it
