How about a piece of all-thread rod instead of the dowel. Once you get things set just how you want them, trim off any excess, and spraypaint the rod black.JPG40504 wrote:The dowel is used as a 'prop'. An adjustable brace attached to an edge of both boards would be 'better' than a prop(but require much more 'effort').[as well as wider boards]
