Thanks for the added information. I kinda had heard that the blueing was not a problem but I still want to perfect my technique to be right. As far as using the ss jig I don't see that working very well I tried several ways with it and failed. I might have some time on my next break for new job.

Looking at that video again, I think the Sharpening station won't work - it looks like all the tools I've seen for grinding a fingernail result in a variable angle that a simple pivot at the tip will not produce. Maybe it's time to build a jig. If I come up with anything, I'll post it.
