You are a
serious SS addict!!! Congrats. Glad they are going to a good home. If you start today, you could have a basic flat bottom boat designed and built by Sunday.
shipwright can give you some pointers.
(Hi, my name is Mark. I am a SS addict and an ER-holic...)

Sorry Mike, I am still in denial-The only SS problem I have is floor space:)
I have purchased this one without even seeing a picture, but for $40 how can you go wrong? (it runs)
As for the boat, I am thinking a barge. I could launch it into the SF Bay and have a floating woodshop/bait store

If you are 'above the dirt' and on the water, where ya gonna get the worms(or are worms illegal in sunny Ca)?

Sorry we are not that P.C. yet! Out in the bay, you could get a Perch with a pile worm , or you could use squid for sharks and rays, mud-suckers for sturgeon or my favorite-anchovies for striped bass
Hey Heath!
Rod got no volume!

Went and picked up E 1945 this morning. Poor old gal had been outcast onto an apartment patio. Not in too bad shape. There is a crack on the ring around quill that holds the depth stop and he didn't have the bar for the sliding mitre gauge. all in all, not a bad deal @ $40

So how about you sell me that speed changer for $40 and the rest of it becomes a freebie for you?

Hey Heath!
Getting rid of an original component on #1945 would be worse than cutting the tubes-NO????
