I am right in the middle of a project so I couldn't wait for the new electronic motor. I will get it when it becomes available. ShopSmith's price was better than the the rewind price. I agree it was a good way to say they didn't want to be bothered! I am still waiting for the shipment (due on the 15th) but I'm sure you know how that will turn out!

I did make the 2x as you mentioned, but before I read the thread.
