On the topic of SPT's on 10ER's, the one I picked up and restored over Christmas had the rather ingenious setup shown below:

The outer pulley was simply bolted to the existing pulley and a short shaft machined to take the drive coupling was inserted in the pulley and locked with a set screw. The tool mount is self explanatory. If, at first glance, it doesn't seem very strong, think a second about the little plastic coupling it's driving. If you want to see more of this 10ER:

I'm sure most everyone knows this, but maybe this might help someone. Check out this site.

I hope everybody learns this because I'm so ugly that no one is going to want to breathe life into me...

They might have trouble reaching me since I am taller when I lay down than I am when I stand up.

Your Sense of Humor is definitely NOT broke!;)
Which one of these kreg depth referances are right?

This is from inside a case. I do not have the case, I just copied the pic.
This is from my instructions of the mini kreg jig kit.

I saw that (attachment 8182). I just wonder why they say two different depths. I watched a video on assembling a kreg workbench. The guy (Jeff Devlin) mentioned 1 1/2" wood set collar at 4 1/8". This matches attachment 8181. Sorry to be a PITA, but this is very confusing to me.

Hi,
I own two Kreg jigs. Both of them have only 3 dept collar settings. They are 3-1/2" for 3/4" material, 3-5/16" for 1/2" material, and 4-1/4" for 1-1/2" material.
They also address only 3 sizes of wood, one using a mechanical system to locate the jig and the other a dimension from the edge of the wood to the jig.
The mini jig says to have the jig flush to the edge of 3/4" material, the jig is to extend over the edge by 1/4" on 1/2" material, and for 1-1/2" material it is back from the edge by 1/4"
In all of these cases the tip of the bit is designed to be 1/8" back from coming through the wood. If you were to set the bit say 1/8" deeper on the 3/4" material (3-5/8") then the tip of the bit should just break the surface. If the bit were set so it was within a distance of 1/16" of breaking through the surface it would be set at.....3-9/16"
Hope this helps.
