I did the survey as a total joke - all four answers are pointing back at me. :p

It was not 'specified' that the person who purchased it was 'you'. Taken as a joke initially, but did try to give it an honest answer!;)

Since personal responsibility has become a non-issue in product liability claims, lets examine the following scenario: While building a large bookcase, in order to rip the high grade ply side panel, I removed the upper and lower saw guard. Since the wood was wider than my saw table I propped an end table from the living room on blocks and used the coffee table on blocks as an outfeed table. While cutting the panel the blade caught, the kickback caused the blade to slash through the expensive ply destroying it's usefulness. The twisting panel knocked the end table and coffee table off the supports, badly damaging both, and breaking the glass inserts in the top of the tables. While cleaning up this mess I cut myself on the glass littering the shop. Totally devastated and depressed my wife used her most skillful ways to try to cheer me. Nine months later we had another baby girl. CAN I SUE THE SAW MANUFACTURER FOR CHILD SUPPORT!:D

Exactly! Glad you got my point. Of course, BS and a lack rationality (or personal responsibility) does not preclude a lawsuit today.
