You achieved a really nice finish on your paint. The colors look really nice! Did you paint the table tubes because they were too rusted to clean up?

This may be green now, but it wasn't green before. Vanmeter2r has one of the newer 'C' type headstocks, originally rough textured gray. The machine is very pretty, vanmeter2r. In time you many want to remove the paint from the jointer infeed, outfeed and fence surfaces or was this just an optical illusion that makes it look like the work surfaces are painted. All in all you have to feel really good about how it turned out. Nice Job!!!

As far as the foot pedal, ya I cursed after I did it, but since I'm so soon after surgery, it will have to wait for me to swap it. I am going to refinish the back of the back of the bandsaw when I feel better. I need new tires for the band saw (look at the before pictures in this string). I am going to upload all my before pics now (unfortunately only 5 pics per post).
