Operate with them half lowered as opposed to operating with them fully raised. We be referring to the position of the casters, not the legs. I would not recommend operating them with the casters fully lowered(legs fully raised). I won't tell OHSA about it, but it can be operated without the legs sitting of the floor.
Interesting difference in 10E vintage catalog info versus Mark 5 vintage.
10EW say 1/8" and 1/4" Mark 5 say 1/4" and 1/2" I do not recall any difference in the cam profile between any versions of the casters.
