I must 2nd that. This is a really nice shop and we already know that it is truly a "working shop" even though there is no apparent evidence of that in these photos. This shop would easily pass an OSHA inspection.

At the end of the day, when I'm ready to quit, it looks pretty bad. But, the following morning, I clean up, put everything in its place, then restart the project. I only do this, so that I'll know where everything is. But, then again as the day progresses, I'm going, "Now where did I lay down that square"?

Does you dust collector system do a good job of keeping saw dust and chips in check? How is the system switched? I am assuming you have a commercial system. I don't have a big proble m. My wife is a clean fanatic and after 35 years of marraige she has managed to rub off somewhat on me. I currently keep my shop pretty well contained with a shopvac attached to whatever tool I am using. Would like to make it easier though. I have read extensively about dust collectors and filter systems. I have an 22' x 11' shop. I have an adjacent room that I use for storage. I would like to put a dust collector in that room and duct it to my shop. That would keep the noise down and not take up space in my shop proper. It is a basement shop. Switching is a concern to me as well as having enough airflow at each tool to be efficient and limit plug-ups.

Roger I have 8 tools on one 2 hp single bag standard unit. All have inline blast gates and when they are all closed expect the one servicing the machine that I am using I have all the vacuum that I need. You could go with a cyclone system for you set up if you decide to install it in a separate room. I have just always used the individual standard vac units, most of mine were bought before cyclones became affordable. I have 5 located around my shop and most run several tools.
