I know that you can post that spreadsheet but it takes some manipulation to do so. No, you cannot simply link it to the forum.
I have posted a spreadsheet that lists the part numbers of set screws but only after that manipulation. I'll look back to see if I can figure what I did.

You can zip it and attach the .zip file.

This may seem too easy but I just went out to my shop one day with my digital camera and took pictures of everything, inside drawers, on top of cabinets, everything. The added bonus is when I forget where I put something (like after being in AZ for six months) I can sometimes solve the problem by cruising through my inventory photos. Anyway, thanks for this thread, it is a reminder that I have to get out and do an update.

OR you can cheat and just change the file extension from .xls to .zip and upload that.

I am not sure I want to either document nor think about what all has been accrued over the years. When I need something, I will recall I have it. Being something of a constant habit, I usually can find it(not always quickly!).
Those insurance guys would not appreciate their value to me anyway! They think in terms of value depreciated to zero decades ago!

OK! How many folks know how to change the 'extension'?
I would do it external to 'windows'. ren abc.ext abc.ex2

I had thought about that, but then thought the forum software might be smart enough to examine the file and see that it's not really the type of file the extension says it is.
I think I'll test that...

I know how I would do it, but wonder if there be a better way? I be more comfortable with ancient methods that are rarely known to most. What be your method(how many 'clicks'/letters typed?)?
