If anyone upgrading with the PowerPro Upgrade kit is interested in obtaining information on adding additional Mark "B" or "C" headstock casing and parts to complete a PowerPro headstock and/or assembling an additional Mark V headstock after upgrading your headstock to a PowerPro, please contact me if interested. I recommend using any additional headstocks for a MINI (26 3/8" shorter, no carriage) or a SHORTY (18" shorter, with carriage) Shopsmith.
I have available a Mark V headstock rebuilding check list, pictures and instructions. I hope to have a library of PowerPro information and pictures soon. I will be happy to respond to any Shopsmith questions.

We are looking forward to the reviews from the first recipients of the Power Pro and Power Pro upgrade kits. Sadly, my Power Pro fund was emptied to help my daughter with grad school.
For those doing the upgrade themselves, headstock castings, belt covers and motor pans can be had for very little money on ebay. Looks like a golden opportunity to build a power stand or a backup headstock. Or of course, you could sell the extra parts to defray the cost of the upgrade.
Have fun with them!:)

Me too! Got the call from Jan! Picked it up on the answering machine when getting back from the store. Wow! The call had all the instructions to be home when it comes in order to sign for it - and it will be sent via FedEx.
I thought if she had to call many people, she had a big chore!!!! What nice customer service! I'm sure the extra wait wasn't Shopsmith's fault.
No, Red! Not COD! Just FedEx making sure because of the value that the shipment gets to the correct person. If I'm not here, FedEx will leave a card for me to allow delivery without a signature.
Just checked "order status" and it didn't ship today. (now 5:00PM eastern) so suppose it will tomorrow.

FedEx (don't know about UPS) requires a signature on packages valued $500 or more.

Can't wait to hear how it is... I'm (im)patiently waiting for the second batch to ship (at least, I think I'm in the second batch....). I knew I should have asked the wife sooner! The suspense is KILLING ME........

Shipped today! Expected delivery out here Sept. 9th. Some will get theirs earlier because of shipping distance.
