Newbie Bowl Turning Questions

You did excellent work, especially for a first time, that being said, if the insides of your bowl are not where you want them, you might check around and see if you have a local woodcraft that has a bowl class, you usually have to take the basics class first, but as it teaches you good spindle techniques it is worth it, the bowl class (if it is like the one i had) should show you several different types of bowl gouges, and how to use them, between it and the basics class you will get how to use spindle and bowl gouges, parting tools, scrapers, roughing gouges, and pick up many techniques for useing them effectivally, not to mention you will have someone there to show you why your not getting the result you want.

Either that or find a turning club in your area (local woodcrafts help with this btw) most of the clubs i have been in the people are happy to help you out and will even do private lessons
