My Power Pro Headstock is on order but I am not going to give up on my speed reducer. How about 35 RPM. Might be useful sometime !!!
(OK, for the detail oriented among us it is actually 35.71428571 RPM )

I'm wondering if my ER is an option for getting the lower speed? Can't find any info on the standard pulley configuration RPM's. Anyone gots?

With the speed changer, the ER has a range of 425 to 6800.

Without the speed changer, the three speed settings are 850, 1725, and 3450.

Well, if I have done it correctly, I have attached the 10ER Speed Reducer instruction sheet but, unfortunately, I can't find any mention of the RPM settings.

I thought the speed changer only varied the speed within each of the individual 3 pully ranges while maintain the original stock min-max speeds. :confused:

You were mistaken. The speed changer expands the speed range at the expense of some power loss.

I'm VERY glad I was mistaken since I now have a way to use my forstner bits within their max speed design parameters. I was pretty bummed knowing I'd have to buy a PowerPro in order to use my bits. (I intentionally ignored the speed reducer approach.......PowerPro would be more fun)

Anyone aware of a table that shows the RPM's vs. pulley / speed setting value when the speed changer is being used?

For the Forstner bits, set the speed changer up in the low speed pulley arrangement and then dial the speed down as slow as it goes.
