Went on sale two subsequent times, SS response "Back order report shows it due one week from Friday." Based on the responses to my query, I guess I was the only one who ordered it. I suspect there minimum order size is more than 1.]
I find that the biggest problems many of my suppliers seem to struggle with is finding vendors who can supply raw materials and or finished parts. Have you called and asked shopsmith folks why you are unable to get the part? Fjimp

I did and they continued to refer to their back order report. It does not matter any more. I canceled the order for the fence stop and I also canceled the order for the parts that they wouldn't ship until the fence stop came in so they could ship it all together. BTW, I also emailed Folkreth and received no response. Customer service can be delivered in so many different ways.]

Hi Gang;
Why can't you make your own flip stop. A block of wood, a sliding "T" nut and a bolt to hold the T nut to the sliding groove in the top of the fence. The flip portion can be made from a 2" right angle bracket available from most hardware stores. If the angle bracket works loose it can be tightened by tightening the screw securing it to the sliding block.

[quote="wa2crk"]Hi Gang]
One CAN make one, but the original point of this thread was relative to the creation of 'specials' multiple times this year while not shipping ANY including the first!

Gotta wonder how long it would take to get the 'T nut'!!!!:rolleyes:
