Wishing all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We will be celebrating ours a little later. The wife was in a car wreck Wed evening and is currently in ICU with a severely bruised lung and a cracked pelvis.

A kid in a pickup ran a red light and broadsided her as she was making a left turn (she had a turn arrow). He hit her hard enough the air bags deployed even though the front of the car was not hit.

The part that really makes me mad is that the two kids from the pickup and their parents came to same ER that the ambulance took my wife and they did not even ask how she was.

I have attached a picture of main area that was hit. We had to get a pry bar to open the trunk and get inside so that we could kick the driver rear door open.

Just glad none of the grand kids or anyone else was with her.

That is not me in the picture.

Looks like she got hit really hardy, thankfuly her injuries are not any worst than you stated. Hope she has a fast recover and everything works out good for the both of you......Your entire family wii be in our prayers......
I keep finding little windows on this forum, that I don't really know what they do. So sometimes I experiment. Probably shouldn't do that, I know in my shop it can get me into trouble.

Thanks all for your replies.

The Orthopedic doctor was in today and said surgery would not be require on the pelvis. He has ordered PT to start as soon as possible. We still have no idea when she will get out of ICU.

Again thanks to all for your thoughts & prayers.

Merry Christmas to all. May Santa leave you a PowerPro under the tree (if he doesn't, you obviously weren't a good boy this year ;^).

Bob, my prayers are out for your wife's speedy and full recovery.
