I may be wrong but I thought I saw a similar device before. I don't know if they incorporated the panagraph but the ability to move the router on the xy and z axis existed.

Also didn't Dave Marks (TV woodworker) have something similar only done in aluminum? Isn't the Woodrat very similar? For than matter doesn't the Shopsmith OPR almost duplicate this? Or am I missing something?

Lots of things are similar. Other things are just plan Coooooooooooool. This wooden beast is cooooool.:D
