O.K. Now that you've seen mine - where's yours?

I don't have any still shots but I can make some this weekend to post. My youtube page shows my shops evolution.

Ok here are some shots from my shop.

First picture here is from the back of my shop showing the old 78 mark 510 to the left and the new 2002 mark 520 to the right. I have he bandsaw set up on the 510 and the belt sander stored on the other end. The 520 has the jointer set up as a hopefully permanent STP

The second picture shows the 520 and the dust collector. I also have my planer set up there too which you can see 1/3rd of on the right.

The third picture shows the planer (picked that up with the stand new in the box for $100 from the same guy I got the 520 from. Just finished my pegboard set up last week. I cut one of the bucket tool holders in half and mounted it on the board. It holds an assortment of random tools and I like the addition.

The next picture is of a fireproof room, or so the tag on the key says when I bought the home. It is my room for paints, stains, thinners, etc. I have an awesome paint sprayer called a capspray 9900 that atomizes the paint. Got that too from the guy with the 520. Came with two spray guns and I am thrilled.

The last picture is of the room attached to my shop. This was my man cave I created to get away. In the next year or two, I am going to take out the false wall separating the rooms and make my shop 8 feet longer. I have to finish another room to move my stuff into first though. If you can't tell, I like Halloween a bit I have a tv, and xbox, a microwave, and a deepfreeze. What else do you need?

I hope to see others post their shops here soon. This is fun sharing and I like getting ideas as to how to improve my own shop.

Here's mine, such as it is. It's a 16x20 prefab structure in my back yard. No heat or A/C and I'm really just getting started. My shop is not a dedicated woodshop but is use for anything household related, some yard equipment and some storage in the attic space.

Here's a tour of the space in my first attempt with Photosynth, a free tool for Windows 7 users. Apparently I need to take more photos for this to flow smoothly.

My shop is a 12x20 room in my basement. Around here it is too cold to work in the garage in the winter, and that is the only time I do any woodworking. I could use more room like everybody else, but I manage OK because the Shopsmith is "space efficient".

I think he put it up there(partially done) until he gets thru working on his 'second' real one!;)

I started that before the pattern got cleaned up and I made some modifications that did not turn well.

Somehow when I inherited my Dad's Shopsmith 20 years ago, I also inherited the job of building cedar chests for the family. There are 3 finished ones sitting in the shop now to distribute, and that makes 16 total I've built over the last 20 years. I have a large family, so I'll never get to the end of this project. But, I enjoy it.
