I just ordered one as well. Have been considering a 4-jaw chuck for some time, and the sale price just said "buy me now"

I do not want to appear critisizing SS.
I fount out about this special we are talking about on this thread.
I took the phone numbre given in the promotion of the article in question and this number does say by a recording that it is only from monday through friday so how can a guy buy this tool.

Order Toll-Free by Phone, if you prefer -- 1-800-543-7586
Call before 5:00 PM EDT. Give your Shopsmith representative the code 7DU85 when calling.
Offer Ends 11:59 PM EDT Sunday May 8, 2011

Nobody is answering the phone right now. The sale by phone should have ended on Friday before 5pm then.

I would love to order by internet but I been told by a previous try for something else that they do not take orders from canadians via the net only by phone, otherwise we have to do it through All in one tools but they (all in one tools) do not offer that special, only SS does.
Otherwise SS told me in an email that I would have to order through an american address.
How do I go and help SS make a profit and sell me things.

Thanks Bob, I tried and it blocks when I answer the part about the state code
"unrecognised state code" in red at the top
I brought that up to SS a few weeks ago and even if you can select CANADA a bit lower in the form, it does not work for the state code part of the form.

I would call Shopsmith first thing Monday and explain your situation. They may honor the special given your circumstances. If you haven't already, be sure to sign up for the email specials or check them regularly here.
