Hey all, Ive taken possesion of a mark v
And a magna610 was a new seperate addtion, its got oil in and is in good shape. The instructions show it mounting
to the top spindle but I dont have long enough
mounting tubes.The eccentric ones for the bandsaw are to short

Can it be driven off the lower spindle?

The tubes for the strip sander fit and can be ordered.

Looks like you would have to flip them around
So that the jig saw is on the shorter eccentric end
So as to line up the spindles. Should work, thanks much

Do you know if the eccentric ones are needed or can I lathe up some straight ones at 1.232 dia?

The jig saw originally came with straight tubes -- all the early SPTs did. The eccentric SPT tubes were introduced to make it easier to align the drive hubs laterally.
