No, my bid was $240, couldn't justify any more as most of it would be surplus to requirements, I'll never be using a planer and I'd rather have a Festool shopvac.
What I could really do with is one with a bandsaw, lots of arbors etc. and a non working headstock to keep the price low enough to not feel guilty about ruining the machine if my mods to it prove to be stupid.

There's a buzz here thanks to the new owners. Not just for next season but there is a sense of excitement with the plans for youth development. I've heard that Dalglish (Liverpools manager, coach in American terms) has been bringing youngsters in to train with the team.
Sensible investment in young people is never a mistake.

I love the fact that the forum has gone international. My first reaction to the starter post for this thread was "Why do care about an offer to sell in the UK". Now I know; now that I have become aware that some of the members are not here in the US.
