If pricing philosophies have changed (toward more reasonable), I just might be able to reduce the size of my want list.

That list is long enough and changes frequently enough that I now keep it on the computer so that I can keep it current.

I hate it when I place an order and right after I get confirmation I remember that I need something that I did not order. Something simple like the tappered set screw in the miter gauge.

Do not worry! Last time I attempted to purchase a couple, the 'out of stock' gremlins killed it!:D

I think I am going to order a set and see how they work on the Pro-Planer I am in the process of refurbishing, along with a dust cover.

The only thing that will be available is the old casters. The wheel brackets will relocated and reused.

Dusty would you mind posting that list? I would love to see it.
I might even adopt it as mine. :D

Are you just curious about what I have on my "want list" or are you going to help to eliminate it?

If the later, I'll post it very, very soon.

I keep this list in Xcel but the forum does not accept .xls files. I copied it into Paint and saved it back as a JPG file. Did not know how to do that until I started using Windows 7.

Sorry I can't help you eliminate your list. I was curious to see it. In the first post where you mentioned it you mentioned a tapered set screw for the mitre gauge. I saw that and said hey I would like one of those and then I thought what else does Dusty have on his list that I may also need or want.
I looked over your list and didn't see anything that jumped out at me but let me think about it, I may start my own list. Seems like a good idea.

It is a good idea. Especially for those small repair parts that you don't want to pay full shipping to receive and think I will wait until I order something larger. Only, when you place that next order you forget to order the stupid things. Not that I have ever done this.

As I see it -- these look like quality casters. I've had my Mark 5 since
1956 -- bought it at Montgomery Wards -- I've made toys for my kids & grandkids -- many home repairs -- still love the machine. The new casters
will be a great help in moving it around. I see some guys worry about
using cheaper wheels -- but I know these will fit -- they are worth it !
I'll order mine today.
