Also, you can look on the Shopsmith website and compare what is on eBay. But, very often you can buy from Shopsmith directly at the same price or lower than a bid price on eBay. Some of those folks bidding just want it without realizing you can get it cheaper from Shopsmith. If the bid price is more than 1/2 what I can purchase it from Shopsmith, I'll just get it from Shopsmith. But, always voting with my pocketbook to when and what I can buy to bring my system up to par. Still have a few pieces to acquire. The aluminum sanding disk from the 10ER's will also fit the Mark V's. The best to you.
Fair warning that for some stuff, the reason for the higher price is because it could take 6mo to get your item. Things seem to be going faster now, but in the past year or two that was a good reason for the higher prices...supply and demand.

I've been getting an average of $25.00 for them when I sell one.
There were several different types over the years, The best is the Jacobs That looks like this.
The number 3326 should be visible.

That is a 'shopsmith' original. Though not made by jacobs, I have not heard any complaints about it.
The seller is reliable!!!!!! Never any 'junk'!

For what it's worth, I buy from Shopsmith when I can. They are a relatively small company that has managed carefully to stay in business. In my opinion, the uniqueness of our machines requires support from time to time that cannot be found elsewhere. We need them/they need us. For those of you who have never talked to Shopsmith Customer Service, those folks are THE BEST, most courteous and helpful people anywhere. My opinion only, Tom

Very true. One interesting difference I just learned is that sometimes there is an actual difference between what SS sells and what you might find locally. Apparently the SS strip sander belts are more flexible than most standard ones. As such, they are better for curved platten or non-platten work.
