FedEx wasn't quite right. My PowerPro upgrade kit arrived yesterday!
Now all I have to do is find time to watch the DVD, read the instructions (TWICE as Shopsmith recommends) and install it. This will interfere with my upper shop cabinets project but... So what? I'll still be spending time in my "Happy House" as my bride calls it. What could be better? Not much.
I'll report on progress and hopefully have some pictures soon.

Are you kidding?! You MUST BE. Of course I didn't complain :p!!
I'm a most happy guy at this point. Just ordered the stronger gas cylinder for the lift assist I already have. With my bad back I don't need to wait until after the PowerPro is installed to find out if I will need it.
I'm hoping to get the install done this weekend barring any unforeseen interruptions. Pictures will be included in progress reports.

PowerPro 520, PowerPro 500 (was my father's 500), SS jointer, SS Mark V mount planer, SS bandsaws (2), belt sander, scroll saw, SS jig saws (2), strip sander, Jointech system, 12" Delta Compound Miter Saw, a small collection of routers, a router table and a Delta Unisaw. All in a 24' x 24' shop.
