My assessment is base on looking at the external headstock. It appears to have the original caution label near the power switch. That tells me the headstock was probably never repainted, but I don't know that for sure. He could have gotten a new warning label from MickyD:D
I wouldn't hesitate to pay up to 100.00 for a base assembly alone, w/casters, if it was in good condition. The base makes a great platform for making assembly/work tables and mounting other tools and such.

They are not included either!!!;)

Huh? Did you 'miss' posts 8 and 11 in this thread?
What accessories?

Of course if one has a large building containing many 'spare' parts the incompleteness issues do not exist!:D

I read those but there was no reference to put the comments in context. I must have also skipped over the one where someone contacted the seller of the enfield machine and learned that there was no 'box' with the worktable, sander table, fence, etc., etc., etc. As far as parts go, I believe that Bill Mayo and damagi are the ones that advertise parts in their signatures.

All true! But I assume(yes I know how it is spelled;)) the seller would include those items if he had them, not assumed he had them and neglected to include them in the pix.
Ah but yer 'reputation' precedes you(a well deserved positive one I might add)!
I understand yer 'consternation' re signatures (etc.).
I think the 'context' arrived in post 3 and a couple of later ones.

This looks like a whopper of a deal to me. If I had the funds and space, this would be in my garage this weekend.

Someone else in the area can have a great deal. This is a 520.
