Thank you so very, very much for your thoughts and wishes. However, it shall be impossible to have a peaceful day tomorrow. When our family all gets together, there is no such thing as peace; there are just too many young ones to have peace.:) Joy and Fellowship, YES. Peace, NO.

A little plagiarism

Twas the night before Christmas and all thru the shop
Not a noise was heard, not a tool was dropped
All the lathe chisels were racked with great care
In hopes that their sharp tips would be spared
The small power tools were put away all snug on their shelves
And Christmas was finally done just in time by this old elf.

Now as I sit here surfing the forum and ponder the need for decorum
I’m glad I’m a woodworker tho poor I may be
The gifts I have given bring both pleasure and glee
And now as I dream about what tools I might buy
And the great things I will make as the years do fly
I find myself thankful for the friends I’ve made here
And wish you all the best of woodworking next year.

Merry Christmas!

holsgo wrote:May I quote you JPG? I've left the nightmare of northern Virginia for hopefully less complicated regions in TN. I might need that quote during this 3 day romp.

Any specific location? Head south on I80 to I40 then West to ???

P.S. When you get to TN and do 'echo my opinion' you may need to explain it!

South on 81 !!!

Arrived on the west side of Knoxville just about an hour ago. Have to turn around and go north on Monday morning...the caddy is getting a workout but I must say that is the best riding car I have ever owned.

You passed the less complicated area of TN. Try Sevier County sometime!;)

Enjoy the fellowship of your family, friends and all others you know. That's the special memory that you take into next year. Here's hoping you have wonderful, memorable and safe holidays and that your New Year is safe, healthy and prosperous. Now, enjoy a little trip with Santa.
