I know that I am not getting prime wood here, but considering that my "shop" consists of my shopsmith with the bandsaw and jointer, and a planer that I acquired from the guy we bought our house from. Still have not played with the planer to know how good it is. All this is set up in one side of our garage with nary a table, cabinet, bench, box, stool, nada, nothing. I figure that I can find some good use for some free wood.dusty wrote:You most likely will not build any classic furniture out of this wood but it will be good to have around. Just try real, real hard NOT to discover any of the staples or nails with a saw blade or router bit.The profit margin will go to zero in a hurry.
Will be careful of the staples, am thinking I will have to invest in a metal detector to double check the boards after I pull the staples that I can see.
